To answer the demand for electrical noise reduction as devices are increasingly wireless and high-density, JAE has developed the FI-P Series board-to-cable connector, which has superior EMI control achieved through shield casing of the total connector by covering the receptacle with the metal shell of the plug.
The FI-P Series is an industry's smallest class size connector with 0.4mm contact pitch and 1.0mm mating height, and is ideal for high-speed transmission of LVDS, DisplayPort, and USB in small electronic devices like notebook PCs, tablet PCs, eBooks, electronic paper and projectors.

• Superior EMI control with design that utilizes the plug shell to cover the receptacle terminals.
• 30 position board-to-cable connector ideal for the LCD interface of LVDS and DisplayPort, as well as for internal wiring of PCI-Express and USB.
• Receptacle available in two types: standard, and reinforced ground. Grounding of reinforced ground type is enhanced by multiple hold-downs (8 points compared to standard 4 points) provided on shell, and springs located at 2 points for connection of the receptacle and plug shells.
• Low-profile 1.0mm mating height.
• Contact pitch 0.4mm, high-quality impedance matching compatible with high-speed transmission.
• Lock bar on cable plug, mechanical lock effectively prevents accidental disconnection caused by vibration and shock.
• Plug available only in solder type. Can be assembled with fine-coaxial wire or discrete wire.
