For portable devices like mobile phones, smartphones, and digital cameras, in order to achieve a greater variety of designs in addition to the continuing reduction in size there is a need for the parts used in these devices to be as slim and space-saving as possible.
To meet this demand JAE has developed the "FI-JZ Series" vertical mating, board-to-cable fine-wire coaxial connector, with the industry’s lowest height of 0.8mm.
The FI-JZ Series connector has the industry’s smallest-in-class size contact pitch of 0.25mm, industry’s smallest depth of 2mm, and is 44% reduced in volume compared to our previous product (for the 50 position).
Also, by adopting the vertical mating structure the FI-JZ Series increases design freedom for customers and is ideal for internal connections in devices that utilize advanced high-density mounting, such as smartphones.
